The Australian Department of Education conducted extensive research in 2016. The details contained in the research are essentially a summary showing only skilled occupations for which the research suggests there are shortages or recruitment difficulties. Each list – National, State and Territory – reflects research undertaken to 31 December 2016, which was published 28 March 2017. Further information in this regard should be viewed in the context of the more detailed analysis available at: National Skills Shortages 2016
For the next few weeks, I will post details for each State and Territory individually. Toward the end of this week, I’ll start with QLD; then NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA, and NT over the next 7 weeks. I’ll insert links at the end this paragraph as I post each article so you have quick reference to them from this page.
